To help everyone who doesn't bother reading these rants:
steffie1: "anything written by anyone with 1% of mainlander blood is biased, pro-PRC, anti-mankind propaganda; naive Western media falls for this trick."

Which is quite bizarre since 30% of the population of HK was born in the mainland, as were 70% of the population aged over 60.

So the proportion of HK residents who had all 4 grandparents born in HK is minuscule.

    Exclamation

Some people are playing with faulted logic.

    Pls note,
recent generations brainwashed by PRC commie/socialist/fascist party
are different from older well-brought up generations Chinese
who still before the commie twisted and destroy the Chinese goodies.

2 of my grandparents and my mum
were born in PRC before communists took over.

    Some twisted people seems to
just argue for the argument's sake ,
or just want to silent me?

Right...so pre-1949 mainlanders can't be infected with the "commie/socialist/fascist" virus? I think your grandparents probably carried them to HK. Many of these communists/socialists/fascists moved to Hong Kong, thus infecting all people in Hong Kong. Such infect passes on to the next generation. Now this disease is all over the world and infecting everyone! You might be a victim too!

Note: this infection can't be eliminated by independent thinking, individual freedom to choose their views or any other common sense and non-witch-hunt notion of individuality.

I know who we need to deal with this:

If I take Holland as another example; you need to read independent blogs (some big, some small) to get an fair unbiased view of events.

The public channels and news broadcast (NOS) are EXTREMELY biased in favor of the Royal House (Van Oranje Nassau) and the muppet government we have. The Commercial channels (RTL owned) are the same but Sponsored by Unilever. So anything you see and read can't be trusted as they will always tell just a certain part of it. This done in such way the government is never to blame.

If you would take the presented stories as true and factional you are far from reality. So given this, it's just Propaganda. As the statistics office is jokingly called "Ministry of truth"...

This said, media have always been there to mislead the sheep, and the sheep have never cared.

Those well informed have always knew to get their information and connect the dots. And they will always do.

People often read the media that reinforces their own opinions. It's rare for people to read media that is opposed to their convictions.

Speaking of watching FOX : I'd been looking for a long time, for some free internet feeds of my favorite news/humour sources. I found one recently and enjoy it daily from the comfort of my bed&laptop.

Hope yall find this useful : http://www.hulkus.com/us-news-and-broadcast/
