Phone / Online Romance Scams in HK

I've always wondered how 'stupid' and how 'rich' you have to be to get trapped in these scams - dating or otherwise. If I had a phone call asking me to pay say 1000HKD, I'd be double and triple checking to make sure that it was legit. There was that son of a Orthopaedics professor who got diddled out of millions of HKD - a relative youngster. Don't you ask your dad/ family about these requests to send big sums of money away. Unless of course, this is all chump change to them.

If you are this stupid and have that much money to just throw at it then you absolutely deserve to get scammed.
