    SCMP blocked in Mainland

Chinese web censors eradicate SCMP presence in mainland

Seems a bit extreme, also coincidentally after the article about Lee Bo's emails:
Exclusive: email reveals Lee Po feared Gui Minhai kidnapped by Chinese agents before he himself disappeared

    Yes, such a coincidence.

I suspect this is part of a cunning plan

    1) Buy the SCMP
    2) Block the SCMP
    3) Sell rare print edition copies on Alibaba ...
    4) Profit ...

China’s internet censors have shut down the South China Morning Post’s social media accounts, effectively eradicating the Hong Kong English-language newspaper’s online presence in the mainland.
The [...] acquisition of the newspaper assets by Jack Ma Yun’s Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. in December has stoked fears that the SCMP’s independence would continue to be compromised...
Now let's wait for SCMPs campaign claiming "you see, we are blocked in China, so we can't be with the "bad guys" up north. We are on your side"...
