Just reading that mainlander Huang Yufeng will be jailed for 5 months and 1 week for the assault she launched on a local woman in Shatin MTR station. Now, she is apparently 4 months pregnant and to avoid jail sentence, her lawyer had pleaded that she wanted to give birth at home, not in Hong Kong. 4 months along and in jail in Hong Kong for 5 months and 1 week; there seems a good chance this mainlander's child WILL be born in Hong Kong.
PLEASE don't tell me the child will then automatically be given Hong Kong residency and ID card and all the included benefits! Bad enough that HK taxpayers have to finance this ignorant and violent woman's upkeep here during her jail time, but it would really be the cherry on top the cake if her child wins the local residency lottery as a result as well.
