Been in the same boat and seen their level of efficiency handling confidential materials at their passport pickup point in Wan Chai

procedures no different than for regular parcels and documents.
I've seen some of their normal procedures around HK and Mongkok, they have a large truck drop off a load of parcels onto the street, while some people sort them, the smaller vans come and collect the sorted parcels for delivery.

One wonders why they don't use FedEx or UPS for US visa stuff, you know, MAG*.

The courier fee for shipping passports back to applicants is inclusive in the US Visa application, obviously they opt to the cheapest option

Don't blame SF for this fail. This is 110% a US consulate fail - shit happens when you outsource to the cheapest bidder.

One of the reasons they can contract their services for so cheap... no rental for pavements in HK.

    Pavement as well as road.
Our local regularly uses illegal parkings spots (next to fire hydrant) for illegal parking as well as impromptu road side sorting.
