Not that different from bargain stock hunters going after some stocks which took a dip because of bad news.
@merchantms - saw that in the SCMP and we were chatting about this in the office. Figured it was just rubber necking and did not put it on here... but ... but ....
Married for only two years and husband was already cheating on wife. Seriously, he should have sowed his wild oats before committing to someone. Two families ruined not to mention those flat owners affected. This appears to be another crime of passion.
Why is the second at all surprising though? Property is one of the biggest issues in HK, and there have even been threads on Geo about how the price effects of deaths.Original Post Deleted
I suspect there is a PR angle to this. One of the property portals goes the whole "going viral" thing once a year with a story on Ghost Flat searches or something like that. The Standard story appearing the next day is shallow, insensitive and focused the cash valuation related to a particular family tragedy.
I guess it is ok if the valuations are done a few weeks or months after the deaths.
(Just playing the devils advocate here...)
If you've managed to be in HK for over a decade, then I'm surprised that you're still surprised!Original Post Deleted
Absolute Wank Stain that husband, if he wants to go fucking around then just go and do it and divorce the wife, then he can be free to fuck anything he wants. What a total looser that he had to go and kill his wife, hope he burns in HELL the fucking wank stain.
Poor Lady, RIP
