    To be fair, getting an ID card here was, at the time, one of the most amazingly efficient and friendly experiences I'd ever had with a bureaucracy in any country.

    Probably.... but who knows what a large tag is with a super sensitive reader. Hopefully at least 3 feet

    Ultra-High Frequency – 865 – 960 MHz –this frequency (UHF RFID) makes up the bulk of RFID applications. The read range for passive UHF tags is from a few centimeters for small tags, to up to 35 feet in large tags

    Yes, so nothing to worry about then. Then is so much FUD spread on RFID tracking, I'm surprised you are joining in with it.
