According to the actual nobel prize web page

    https://www.nobelprize.org/nomination/peace/

They have criteria for the person doing the nominating, but not on the candidate themselves. Other than the fact that you cannot nominate yourself.

This should keep @civil_servant busy for a few weeks. :-)
Busy with what? I'm not sure whether you realize, but Joshua's job just got 10 times harder, not mine.

Not sure the Swedish government is keen on repeating the Liu Xiao Bo fiasco.

Since when was that a "fiasco"? It gave plenty of spotlight on Liu Xiaobo's plight, and he'd have died rather anonymously!

What exactly has young Joshua done to advance world peace? However good his cause this is purely political and belittles the award

That's what I was thinking. Because whatever political future he was planning in his head, it ended right here today. It's what happens when you pick the wrong friends. A pawn in a much bigger play.

Please clarify what you mean? Wong didn't incite Rubio or the like to go campaigning for him.

In a previous thread, you mentioned you were OK with the CCP kidnapping people from other countries for imagined crimes not committed on Chinese soil. I then asked you if you would be OK if Wong would also be kidnapped Lee Bo-style to the mainland? Could you answer this clearly now, without avoiding this question again?
