what mosquito repellent do people use? especially for kids.
Hopefully they won't use the vaccine on all the kids.
In most cases it is not that serious and it is only 7 cases out of 7 million people
To put this into perspective, the annual average in Phils is 170,000 diagnosed and 750 deaths. How many cases are never diagnosed no one knows but it will be a lot higher.

If you don’t mind the initial greasy feel, Neutrogena light sesame body oil really works for mosquitoes and midges/sand flies.
Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray works wonders and moisturizes at the same time. Very light and doesn't have an oily feel to it at all. Has saved me for nine years in DB which has a horrible midge/sandfly/no-see-um problem in some areas.
Mozzies have never bothered me too much (must have yukky blood or something) but this spray also works wonders for hubby's bare legs and his mozzie attraction.
we used a combination of UK cheap yet effective avon moisturier, it actually works and more expensive afresco anti bug cream
