    many years back I was about to buy a house in Las Pinadas on CWB Rd
    HKD 1.25m then and I had the funds
    Someone persuaded me to invest in his company instead - guaranteed winner
    needless to say, that disappeared without success
    Las Pinadas houses are now HKD 35-40m if you are lucky
    It shows how the property market has been completely manipulated here as Asia's money laundry capital

    To be fair @dynamco - the investment might have also been worth $35-45 million if you'd bet on Amazon or Google at that time.

    I would still argue it is not working for the overall good of society. Systems appear are skewed to benefit large organisations. Leaders of countries like their stock markets to go up...
