If you see the indentation on the front of the bus, it has hit the concrete barrier just before the overhead sign gantry.
I drive this route a few times a week, and being downhill many speed after the speed camera.

apparently they recommend you should do 80km and at lower gear on this stretch, i have been on this road many times and it's quite a steep hill downwards to shatin and single file lane towards the end of highway 8 and interjoining with highway 9 and 1 where it's quite packed on rush hour after work.
Horrible. It looks like it could have been much worse.
Density of traffic has increased with the population increase and people do a lot of lane swapping- this could easily have been caused by other cars cutting up. There is not much room for error in HK.Original Post Deleted
Corrected it for you - THere are more cars as the government wants more cars.
The last driver behaviour public information adverts I can recall were pre-handover and I can't find any prosecution details for erratic / dangerous lane swapping with no accident. Again it looks like the government wants the quality of driving to get lower and lower.
I don't think they want this to happen by design or purpose.Again it looks like the government wants the quality of driving to get lower and lower.
It is happening because of the lack of any motivation - laziness.
