    Have donated to them in the past, but tend to find them a bit monotonic and formulaic.. Nothing to do with their political views, but probably more to do with the diversity of style and opinions.

    Also, no business coverage.

    Compared to Zolima City Magazine or even Post Magazine, a lot of HKFPs arts & culture coverage are pretty lackluster (especially HKFP Lens which are mostly just Instagram scrapes).

    To be fair, so are many of SCMP's "videos" - video ads run at a premium CPM.

    I have to say this is patently not true, especially not for SCMP. Just now hkfp has the occupy verdict out for a while and its nowhere to be seen on scmp.

    I see one person ticked the 'They should survive on advertising'. I would guess 80% of possible advertisers will not place ads in independent news outlets
