Bus diversions are out, in a notable change since last time buses will not go through Moreton Terrace or Tai Hang Road flyover in CWB as usual but will go via Braemar Hill to go up to Tai Hang and Lai Tak Tsuen.

Cheung says the government is functioning normally.
the CE is in defiant hiding
the Injustice UBW UGL Secretary apologised for her fcukup as did two EXCO members
2 million people about to hit the streets
    this is normal functioning?
    withdraw the damn bill
say sorry and bow with sincerity
and she might keep her job
WTF so puerile toys out of the cott behaviour

EXCO needs a massive spring clean since the DAB and Liberals and Bixz Profs and Broomhead will suffer at the polls and Pandems will hold the majority so might as well get ready to go with the flow and pocket the 500k a month for decisive thnking as Mayor of HKG

the Sec for Injustice and the Insecurity Sec ex police Dep Commissioner heads need to roll to appease the crowds In any normal western world they would have already resigned

36 million marched around the world against Iraq. 3 million in Rome alone. And yet they pushed forward. Not a single head rolled.

I understand that you're of the opinion that this government should resign, but your statement that in the Western world people resign is inaccurate.

Has Macron resigned because of yellow vest protests? No. Is Trump resigning for ICE locking children up? No. I can probably sit here all night and give a list of Western leaders who haven't resigned despite enormous blunders.

A sea of resignations for trying to push an unpopular bill through the legislative chamber...not. Having Robert Mugabe on that list takes the cake. He sure was good at resigning. Wouldn't you agree?

    You are correct. No accountability.

For the Iraq war the huge anti-war rallies ensured the policy was toxic for years to come and there was obviously voter backlash at the polls. Even the current Democratic Leadership race in the USA questions have been asked about Mr Biden's voting record for the war.

The CCP selected CE doesn't have to worry about such matters but DAB members do no matter how hard the CCP uses tools to disqualify the most electable candidates.

You are both right. In western democracies mass protests rarely lead to resignations, the impact is more usually felt at elections.

Unfortunately the executive and legislative branch don't rely on elections for power.
