Reddit: An apartment owner says he received letters for 3 registered voters with 3 different surnames. None of it belongs to him. There's also no Flat A. People trying to rig election again?

All too predictable, government is just looking for any excuse to cancel the district council elections.

Nip said there were three requirements for the polls to be held "safely and orderly" with the first of these being an end to violence.

The other two conditions were that tunnels and roads should not be blocked, and there must be a halt to the destruction of transport facilities so that traffic is not paralysed, he said.
Somehow police actions fulfill go against the first 2 of these requirements.

I was not aware of any districts that straddle any tunnels in Hong Kong. District Council Elections are by their very nature VERY local and all polling stations are within walking distance. I would be understandable if they offered to extend the opening hours a litte and postpone the results by a couple of hours.

    Or it could be....
