Saw this on LIHKG...
From Apple Daily livestream:
I wonder what that is on the back of that one policeman?
I'm sure I won't be the only one to feel physically sick watching this.

When the powers than be give this level of support to thuggish police, escalation is sure to follow. We've seen on other countries, HK isn't at that level yet but Asia's Finest are a long way down the slippery slope.
There is no justification whatsoever for this level of violence.
According to a twitter source quoting lawyers, protesters arrested tonight are being held in an isolated holding centre north of Sheung Shui (!).
BBC had an interview with the Chinese ambassador (Zhang Ming) to EU yesterday. He described the protests as "extreme violence" and the #1 thing that bugged him was defacing the national emblem and throwing the Chinese flag in the harbour.
He also repeated - and we hear this all the time - that HK belongs to China.
It's obvious they are afraid of loosing HK - fear that giving in to protesters' demands will lead in that direction.
Ideally all this should play out in Legco rather than on the streets - China won't let the debate happen there.
What we have seen from the police is increasingly disturbing - culminating tonight (hopefully). Shooting rubber bullets at point blank range into fleeing crowds inside the subway stations. Apparently planting evidence. Not showing IDs.

Some of the twitter clips have started to be taken down - e.g. they guy with smashed front teeth having his face pressed into a pool of blood on the ground.
