Imagine a large hall with hundreds of students with calculators hunching over their math exam papers, when...

Let's compare similar themed protest song, apparently in Ireland, this protest song is number one now in the charts, do you prefer hk or the Irish one?

Or are they both cringing musically sense, personally, I feel rage against the machine metal genre suits this type of theme

Personally, my favourite protest song is this one by indie band - hope of the state, melancholic and has a lot of atmosphere

I cannot see 500 bankers come out at IFC and sing a RATM inspired song.

Would like to see it .. but I don't think it will happen.

Yes, but the music style don't match the topic, almost ballad inspired, but that's typically hk for you, I note that Radiohead had a protest song you and whose army 20 years ago alleged against Blair and new labour, but I also noted that ok computer
album had political themes on one of their songs, nowadays, they don't use politics within their songs though

For any song to be popular, even a protest song, it needs to be MOTR, accessible to as fans of as many genres as possible, otherwise it would just be faddish. For it to be an anthem, it needs to have longevity beyond current protests.
