Fascinating to watch her slide into the role of dictator - seems to suit her.
DW had an interview with Tanya Chan after the speech.

All this policy talks especially on housing, are mainly for diverting everyone's attention. The government/Beijing ultimate fear is Universal Suffrage.
This is a testing time of how persistent and focus the protesters can are.
If people are buying into those policies, that would just be the same as some corporations, profit comes before moral.
Hi! I'm a journalism student, and I'm currently working on a story on Lam's recent housing initiatives in her policy address. Any Hong Kong Chinese locals who are planning to buy properties, after she increased the cap value of properties where a loan-to-value mortgage ratio of 90% is allowed? The value went up from $4 million to $8 million.
Hoping to hear from people here, would really appreciate it.
Well if she changed that to "any HK expats"...Original Post Deleted
Yes! Very much aware that the likelihood of finding Hong Kong Chinese locals here is slim to none. But was just hoping anyway.
If not, maybe expats who are permanent residents have responses?
