When it comes down to it, majority of people always choose price, quality and convenience over anything else.

My local Starbucks still hasn’t recovered to past customer levels.

The maxims cakes shop near my office used to have a line through the door for morning coffee and croissants now no queue. People will likely forget over time as the bigger brands still trump the smaller ones in terms of convenience and cost.

Probably due to less Mainlanders shopping, but honestly there are a lot of HKers shopping there. I have no idea why since it’s a bit pricey though. They had it much better than Miniso though, Miniso really has nobody shopping there now.

I guess the question should be which businesses suffered the least. Because obviously having less tourists in general takes a toll. It’s more a case of who can adapt and woo local shoppers.

Because people don’t hate them enough already.
