Good idea. In remembrance of those who died for fleeing the China regime.

Wish to find out soon which part of China they are from?

There could be others who died and weren't discovered by the police, how would those bodies get disposed of? To the sea? Buried in the sand? A factory that has all the chemical and tools that can vanish a body?

The usual suspects trying to make this political. FYI there are plenty of 'free countries' in between England and China...

    RIP.

Very sad news, some of you guys should show a bit of humanity, regardless what nationality or creed they were, 39 people dead as result of people smugglers, gather the snake heads (gangsters who organise these smuggles) in China got paid several months wages by these desperate and vulnerable people, only to be ended dead and decomposing within this truck of horror, I hope the snakes heads and their European partners in crime receive long sentences for their heinous crimes.

As pointed out in post #2, this has kind of thing, on a similarly horrific scale, has happened in the the past. This is about people smugglers exploiting the economically desperate, there is even a name for this kind of operation. The chances of this being political are so unlikely as to be not worth the conjecture.

seems like 2 survivors from the 2000 dover incident survived, wonder what happened to them, they must be sheltered and integrated within UK society, may even have learnt some english as well and been given UK citizenship, nevertheless, the horrific event of that day in 2000 must off scarred them for life

Nothing to do with politics? Bullshit.

It's a tragedy for sure, facilitated very strongly by the CCP. How many truck loads of migrants do we see from Japan or Singapore or even relatively poor and overcrowded Indonesia or the Philippines?

The simple fact is the economic success of China is absolutely dependent on politics. The Chinese people have proven time and again that they are industrious and hardworking. China's 'economic miracle' has little to do with the CCP and everything to do with Chinese culture.

Just look at Japan's progress post WWII compared to China which went almost nowhere (other than backwards) until Deng released the maniacal grip of Mao and the CCP. The CCP have created the conditions for this type of tragedy. Having all the collective power of Chinese people's motivation to get ahead and modern China is the best their government can do?
