If the authorities spend as much effort trying to genuinely alleviate the many political and economic issues facing HK as they do now silencing voices they don't want to hear, then maybe HK won't be in this dicey situation in the first place.

Your a bit late to the party... It's clear that they have zero interest to resolve any problems. It just makes you worry what they have in mind for the future of HK.

Eh...no, they don't seem to think there is a future for HK by the looks of it.

Soon, merely existing will be an act of terrorism or a breach of the national security law.

If it was an internal memo, offering counselling services to worried/impacted co-workers... it was most likely an internal snitch, earning their NSL snitching badges and getting worked up into a NSL lather. Hurt feelings, etc. Shouldn't be too hard if they have message tracking and/or internet proxy filtering...

As you are politically handicapped and can only read sources that agree with your narrow point of view, here is HKFP.

You still owe me several sources @East_coast . Consider this an interest free loan.

The Chinese public started threatening boycotts on Weibo. Of course they said the memo was unauthorized, it's an easy way of controlling the damage without losing too much face.

There's a big difference between unauthorised press release (meant to go public) vs internal mail leaked to weibo via a snitch...
Most organisations would expect staff to complain internally... That snitch cost the company a huge headache. So they fire the person that sent the email to keep the CCP happy, plus fire the snitch for getting them into external strife...

Do you actually read or understand anything that you post?

If you are going throw the retard / handicapped slurs, I would look at your own reading comprehension...
