So far plenty of conspiracy theories. How many of these have either been proven or at least have credible evidence that points a strong finger of suspicion.

I’ve no doubt of the enormity of emotion surrounding an abortion but you do have to ask the question. Surely that’s one case where DNA would be irrefutable evidence?

If it is true, I don't see the police providing the DNA material of the agent in question.

Why else would riot cops be seen at the maternity ward of a public hospital? It all points to the suspicion that something happened. We don’t exactly know the full extent of that something yet though.

The shit show that will go down if the rape accusation is true, and that those 4 alleged rapists were transferred from the mainland to assist local police.

Are abortions in Hong Kong carried out in maternity wards of public hospitals? It seems like it would be an odd choice of location to me?

If it was true, I doubt the police officers were wearing their ID numbers either. They take them off when performing semi-legimate police work, so they are hardly likely to display them while committing a heinous crime.

The perpetrator needed have been a police officer either. Who knows if what deals go down with their triad mates?

I have no idea if this story is true, I hope it isn't as it would be horrible, but DNA evidence might not be that useful even if this was real.
