Holy crap!! All the hairdressers wear black, that doesn't make them protesters!! Maybe police just go to those 70 dollar shops or do each other's hair but nicer places they all dress like this! Hope he at least got released at the police station, that is really horrible (and, yes, I know that bystanders get arrested all the time but some people, hairdressers, waiters, HAVE to wear black to work!!). I noticed my own hairdresser in Wan Chai, everyone was wearing a white top and black trousers the last time I went on Friday night, guessing the protests might be behind that...
One credible-ish theory that seems to be coming up, related to the fireman getting roughed up is that the many immigrants in the police force might not be aware of the respect and comraderie that is owed to the other services.. For them, the police and armed services are above all.
Police need to stop using Made in China tear gas, is extremely unacceptable to human safety!
The coloured water used in the water cannon is said to be toxic, it needs to stop!
Police who are emotionally unstable should stay at home, get off the street!

Three people sitting down dispersed! Are they ready to replace the CENO?
This is getting beyond ridiculous - third-class attempt at impersonating the Kenpeitai. On the “endgame†aspect of the police actions though, what do they think it is? I can’t imagine a jury issuing a verdict of unlawful assembly. If they were actually arresting the wizards, _maybe_. But a HK jury convicting anyone - no chance. Is there any option for the government to bypass the jury process?
