Finally saw the video of the medic who got hit with the tear gas grenade/projectile.

It shows him standing in an area that was apparently approved for protesting (I know that they revoked the approval at some point).

Yeah, looking at the video, not sure about that part, looks CWB-ish to me, that was not "approved." But, anyhow, looks like he is standing near a line of reporters, not protesters, so maybe that's what they mean- the designated press area? In any event, don't see any need to shoot a tear gas projectile at that line of yellow-vest people...

I personally think that these are no longer tear gas delivery projectiles. They seem to behave more like incendiary devices. Not to be used anywhere near civilians of any type, including police.
