Yeah, rush hour hardly even started for office workers, plenty of time to mess things up...but I will take my chances and head to Science Park, maybe get off at University and take a taxi if the minibus route from Shatin to Science Park is going to be messed up- I realize University has its own issues...

    Should be an adventure!

Be careful what you wish for.

For myself Tai Po to Tiu Keng Leng by MTR 6am start, busy but clear. Everyone has the same idea today. Get in early. Nice experience walking to the station as dawn breaks.

    "Rush hour hardly even started..."

I don't know, but this city seems to have lost its drive compared to pre-97. I have been at work since 6.40am. Another Irishman came in at 730am. Locals are nowhere to be seen.

Seeing some photos of universities barricaded up. Also seeing reports of police sweeps in some NT areas... and seeing this.

I'm sure there is a punchline ... A Kiwi and an irishman walked into an office.

Anyways.. have a good day. Lets hope today does not descend into chaos.

Yup, East Rail is having problems. Things thrown onto tracks.

    Seems teargas in Kowloon Tong?

The early (Kiwi) bird catches the worm.

Seems I made the right decision to get out early in Tai Po. Just wondering what it will be like getting back.
