What with the new tear gas, thought it might be time for a dedicated thread since most of us are likely exposed to it one time or another.

From experience today:
Burning eyes/nose/skin
Very shortness of breath (got a bit panicky At one point).
Seriously try and stay at the back if your in or caught up in demonstrations.

We used to recommend to ppl on our first aid courses that if they were blocked up with flu to go to a protest and get a couple of lung fulls of CS gas (based on my personal experience in the military gas chambers). Clears out your system beautifully. However, now with the made in china gas it's a case of run away!
