Heading out to the poll
Noticed that the activity at the polling station is way higher than past elections.
Lots of people queuing up early to vote in Cyberport - which is unusual.

In Tung Chung, those in the queue tell me the wait is well over an hour. I'll go back later.
(Pretty much double 2015 turnout at this first hour of voting. EDIT: sorry can’t count that’s triple)

About 11-12% of the number of people assigned to our polling booth had voted by 9am. Our wait was about 40 mins.
In the past we have been in and out in 5-10 mins.
Average age seemed to be around 50+.. But that is what the demographics of our estate are.

10.41% turnout by 9:30am
Queueing as I type, never seen queues like that in an election before. I expect it’ll take at least an hour.
