Rally Sunday has been approved by the police state so expect it to turn into chaos.

Let’s keep it positive and hope it stays peaceful. Welcome any moderates, centrists and even pro-establishment people who want to march for peace in HK. I believe everyone wants a positive resolution to the protests.

CHRF march LONO says something like the protest being approved for 32,000 protestors which sounds several digits off. Does that mean that the police start gassing as soon as 32,001 people arrive in Victoria Park?

Follow the thread for the analysis of this. Also, I think the other tweet I posted mentioned conditions like people have to start marching once Victoria Park capacity exceeds 85%.

My suggestion is to go earlier for those who have lower risk tolerance, particularly while there is still daylight. They’d have to be pretty cynical to disrupt it so early into the long permission hours given, which is not beyond them, but at least you’d have exposed them (again) for what they are, and if they don’t, you’ve contributed to the turnout figure while minimising your own risk.

(My own personal opinion is the better the protest turnout is, the less need there is for “enforcing” a general strike, but of course opinions may differ...I’m also not for “enforcing” a strike, but I do note some may need the cover as they may not be able to openly absent themselves from work.)

Randomness.... completely uncalled for nonsense in my opinion if you're looking for a peaceful outcome on Sunday.

Bus diversion papers (long time no see) are available by selecting individual routes.

Are you kidding me? I've been there in sun and rain, I've run from the teargas and the pepperspray, I've walked until my feet were sore (which admittedly isn't very far these days) and then a bit more.

    See you all tomorrow.
