If only there was a way to get a message passing around the mainland that 100% of Hongkongers are welcoming to anyone who respects the civil rights and liberties of others (*)... Most are even happy to try and use the Pekingese dialect when appropriate and not forced to do so.
Just imagine if Hong Kong Tourism Board was run by actual Hongkongers who are allowed to harness their usual wit and creativity!
(*) as far as mainlanders are concerned; some exceptions may apply wrt. rural population and visitors of non-Chinese background thanks to United Front efforts.
