As somebody who might at best be accused of occasionally jaywalking, I wouldn’t consider that accurate. A neutral Mainland friend clutched my arm in alarm when we came across them at the Airport Express station. My heart beating a little faster whenever I see a group of them would also say otherwise. Perhaps this dread of running into a particularly bad cops might be reflected in the group afraid of running into a particularly unreasonable radical protesters.

Judging by the title alone, one would have hoped for a mea culpa for all their actions of the past 6 months, but no such luck still...
I certainly can see which of the actions of the radicals I disagree with, but we have a polarised society primarily because the police have been willing and increasingly out of control tools of repression.
When can we get back to accounting for the failures of government I wonder.

Not sure this still falls into the category of humour...although the necessary narrative when truth is an obstacle is certainly laughable.
