If the books I ordered back in January don't arrive soon, that's a distinct possibility.

Catholic church LOVES rules... wondering if they have a secret supply of masks to hand out to parishioners? What level of sin is it to grab a few extra for personal use? Hell: "What are you here for?" Me: "Stole surgical masks from the church for my office..."

Maybe this is my excuse not to go...I didn't have enough masks to attend church...
No wine? But this is like the only reason to go to church.

Yeah, just get to watch the priest suck it all down...sigh.

Usually, everyone dips a communion wafer into the wine, making it another cesspool of festering germs- although in one church I went to, we all guzzled from the same cup, just kept refilling it (the theory was that the alcohol killed the germs...yeah). So then at the end, the leftover wine, with all the combined germs of the congregation, gets sucked down by the priest (hey, it's now the blood of Jesus, can't just flush it down the drain). I'm a crappy Catholic, don't believe the whole "transubstantiation" thing.

But, with nothing else to do, people probably want to go to church just to DO something.

Anyone with info on hospital services. I have a minor op on the 25th and will call them nearer the time but the HKHA site has zero info on service disruption.

A few mandatory days off work, pampering myself something silly: dealing with SERIOUSLY dehydrated skin today and sleeping myself to Kingdom come.

How's the strawberry coke? Did you try the apple variation too? I liked that one my personal favorite is the orange coke
