Just now get a call from the mainland asking what the disgracful cowardly Hong Kong doctors are playing at going on strike .

Why on earth do you think that ?all of the current consultants in their 50 's went through sars as resident and I personaly know one nurse consultant who got sars and was admit to icu as a trainee : so anyone graduating prior and circa 2003is gonna have first hand experience ' there is plenty of experience and expertise in hospital authority : plenty of service residents all have experience in sars
It's the memory of the dead doctors and nurses that's driving the strike to force effective government action : no one is asking for more money : by the way plenty are covering for the strikers but sympathy with the aim

I am guessing the poster is young and thinks 15 years is a lifetime.
