    Given that the Caring and Sharing scheme from last year took up to 7 months to pay out, I wouldn’t be hoping for a rapid response this time round.

    (I mean half or more of the establishment who are working from home do not have access to IT systems...)

    I can guarantee you that the next pay rise for the bloated, pampered and over paid civil service will be instantaneous and without the slightest delay.

    Just give it to everyone with a HKID... cross them off the database when they've had the cheque. The end.

    I hiked past the hmz bridge this weekend, it's strange seeing a multi billion bridge empty. What a great use of money that could have been used to help the population.
