Australia bans outbound travel. Kind of agree. They've got lots to see and do domestically.

Exellent work by Al Jazeera. AlJ is owned by Qatar and I beleive formed to counter a lot of anti-Arab sentiment following 9/11. Folks suspicious of the agency but IMO they use Western born reporters and present information in an unbiased way.

A little off topic but whether they are Western or not is irrelevant. CGTN (ex-CCTV overseas) has quite a few Western journalists and RT too.

No one seems to be moved by the AU announcement. Is whoever his name is is not being taken seriously? Not that I care

The banning of people leaving Australia? Not dramatic in the current climate. In Philippines airports are closed so you are not leaving either.

CNN Philippines is off air for 24 hours after one of their staff was confirmed positive. CNN Philippines is the third largest TV station (and IMO the best).

The new measures, which also apply in the United States, came as Amazon employees were asked to work overtime to keep up with panic-buying deliveries. In a statement, the Seattle-based website said: 'We are seeing increased online shopping and as a result some products such as household staples and medical supplies are out of stock.

High-demand products that will now be prioritized include: baby products, health and household items, beauty and personal care products, groceries, industrial items and pet supplies.
I wondered why when I tried to buy some stuff today from a marketplace seller and fulfilled by Amazon, it said out of stock with no restock date on a very popular item. Damn.
