That statement can be accurate taken out of context and reality but in a world which has and continues to discriminate against women and people of color and where old white men hold far too much power and continuously favor each other, it's refreshing and inspiring to see the population elect a broader spectrum of leaders. Young, energetic female and/or people of color inspire and allow for a new generations of leaders to emerge. It's pretty sad if you can't see that. When we live in a world that is equal between men and women, the young and the old and when the color of you skin doesn't matter then you can lecture people on discrimination against old white men. Until then, I will continue with my bigoted way and cheer on competent new faces that bring something new to the table.

What a load of bigotry. Equality is certainly an objective worth striving for - but it works both ways and far too many people are all to happy to pick and choose issues that conform to their political agenda as you have just done. Voting for or against someone based on their gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or anything else is unarguably discrimination. One doesn't have to look hard to find no shortage of institutionalised discrimination against people of all ages groups, races, genders etc.

I'm happy to see new faces who have new ideas that will produce better outcomes. Taxcida Arden may be a new face but she's got no good ideas - she's just a throw back to the kind of socialist agenda that did so well in palaces like Venezuela.

Also, since you seem to delight at jumping to unsupported conclusions, I'd like to point out that there are many younger people, non-white people and women whom I greatly admire. Just not the prat who's mismanaging my country.

Feel free to continue your hate filled rant. I won't see it since you've just joined a racist on my ignore list.
