The India lock down is going to be brutal. My elderly parents (90s/80s) have had two months worth of medication ordered and delivered. Stocked up on rice and lentils. Their helpers may not be able to show up and also fresh vegetables/produce/milk might not be delivered.

Also, Amazon and Flipkart India have stopped deliveries of all non-essential products.

Bit of a shitshow happening with the MSC Magnifica cruise ship with 1700 Italians, French, Germans onboard now off the coast of Western Australia. Two days ago the captain declared 250 people with respiratory problems and wanted to dock in Fremantle. Then later in the day the company declared was a mistake and everyone is healthy and they just want to refuel and then be on their way to Dubai. So yesterday the Australians allowed them to dock, police and military on standby to make sure nobody got off, then they refueled and on their way to Dubai.

Now today, Dubai has refused their request to dock, so they've turned around and on their way back to Fremantle (Perth). Now the Western Australian government shitting themselves and told them to hold off the coast. We are sending health workers on board to assess the situation and why the captain and company are giving out different information.

Stock up two months of supplies seems to be logical these days. Might consider frozen veggies.

Are the government planning to do food deliveries or anything to alleviate the problem?

Now a second cruse ship, the Artania, has 25 people with respiratory illnesses on board requesting urgent medical assistance.

A third ship, Vasco da Gama, due to dock in Fremantle on Friday, we cannot tell this one to f*ck off because its carrying 798 Australians and 109 Kiwi's.

Which is a shame for the elderly, the poor and the medical staff working long hours to keep people alive. Hoarders and panic buyers are scum IMO.
