And exactly what percentage of the Indian population do you think has both the funds to buy so much at once AND safe storage space for such a quantity (never mind a freezer and reliable electricity)?

Or were you just thinking again of your personal situation?

People who are in the high risk catergories (elderly, with medical condition) should stock up more, they need to minimise their exposure with other people.

    Medication, absolutely!

Human ingenuity in a crisis is a wonderful thing. Politicians, not so much

And if they don't have the money to do that? If they live week to week, day to day? Sorry you are dead because we have bought everything, There is enough food to go round if only idiots didn't stockpile.

Noticed that the USA is just 300 active cases behind Italy so it is almost certain that by the end of today the USA will have the most (reported) active cases in the world. I am sorry to inform Mr Trump that it won't be defeated by Easter.

Did you read the message probably? Shri's parents have ordered two months supplies of medication, I agree that is a safe step.

He said no fresh veggie, I suggested frozen veggie.

People have to make choices, spend based on their means, cut unnecessary costs and invest into area that is for survival.

That is no point to argue. You are taking things out of context. You probably have too much time!
