if infection patients are waiting days for a bed, that risks spreading infection (given one person could infect 11,000 people) and indicates that HK has no capacity left, nil, nada, zilch, for covid19 patients, so sad that the media cannot or will not ask question officials

The great majority of covid infected patients do not need a hospital bed, or medical care, just isolation.

That arrest coming so soon after the Liasion office announcement was probably no coincidence. Speaking of which, the pro-democrats in Legco has denounced that as a grave threat to the "one country, two systems". Will anyone listen to them?

Paediatric services in the US could be overwhelmed by thousands of sick infants and young children – an overlooked group which has a higher risk of serious illness from Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, according to a new study.

While children are at a lower risk of fatality from Covid-19 compared to the elderly, the very young were most at risk of becoming seriously ill and the sheer weight of population numbers in the US meant the need to be prepared for an influx of cases was urgent, the study said.

Hmmm...ummm, well then. Best laid plans and all that.
