What are the main reasons HK has only had just over 1000 cases?
Rapid adoption of masks
Octopus is ubiquitous
Closed the borders early
People no longer 'flee to HK'
Early track and trace
Quarantine measures
Early social isolating (Schools / government)
Self awareness of HK'ers for hand cleaning etc
All of the above
Other - -please state

Draconian quarantining. When I tell friends abroad that your entire household either goes into the hospital or to government quarantine if there’s one positive case, they are shocked.
One of my choices, "other" is the HK protests that discouraged mainlanders from coming here over Lunar New Year...it really did cut down on quite a bit of "virus supply sources..."
too soon to tell? (I think it may be too soon to tell for several east asian countries, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore)
No one has gone for Octopus....
HKers handle cash probably a lot less most developed countries. Even China with it's QR code payment cash is still used a lot and probably more still than HK with NFC cards for small amounts and pay wave for bigger amounts.

Huh, is that true? If someone comes back, the whole family, including helper, has to stay inside, too for 2 weeks?
I heard the bracelets can just be taken off. I'm not convinced people do follow the quarantine rules.
I'm facing a neighbor coming back this week from the UK. Don't believe the household is planning to all stay inside.
Definitely a genetic matter. I would bet on that
