So the HK government has announced a gradual reopening of cinemas, bars, gyms, beauty and massage parlours, video game arcades, etc. My question is, will you jump at the first opportunity to patronized those places? Or will you be a little more careful?

I see no reason to be particularly cautious, there has been no local cases for a full incubation cycle. I'll be in the gym and at the pool as soon as it opens and I've already been out playing tennis and to the track.

There should be a “not particularly excited, will head there when I bother” option

Yup, there should be a "don't-care-either-way" category. My bad.

Surely there are no hidden asymptomatic cases around...right?

I'll visit my local bar. I know the expat manager will enforce the rules and I don't see how it's any different to drink beer with friends at a bar that only serves drinks - following government guidelines - than it has been for the last few weeks drinking beer and eating a meal at a bar that stayed open because its turnover was (ahem) at least 60% from food sales. Right...

Much of the deep blue economy hasn't paused during the shutdown. Illicit drinking, drug and gambling parlours still open for business. There has been discussion of supply side issues with a shortage of willing warm bodies due to travel restrictions.

Is it just a coincidence that anything you can preface parlour with got shut down?
