Results about what you might expect. 1/5 to 1/4 by their own admission don’t have a good attitude to members of the public(!) in HK.

1/5 don’t believe they have any need to explain their actions.

More than 3/4s want to use even more force!

The good core of the cops is down to about 10%, less than you might hope of say a 20/60/20 initial attitudes split towards the protests. So basically letting the bad cops rule has ruined the force.

He said the report was the product of careful, objective and comprehensive scrutiny by the watchdog, and laid out the facts of what happened during several individual incidents during the unrest.

You can read the whole thread, but here are some extracts (highlighting my own).

The officers have retreated onto the stairs, when one suddenly raises his gun and fires towards the group of reporters. That's when Veby got shot. Here's what inaccurate about IPCC's description of the event:
    1. Police was not asking reporters and protesters to leave at that particular juncture, they were talking among themselves about retreating strategies. 2. There weren't any warning before the shot was fired.3. Veby was not hit by "something", she was hit by police's shot.
The report itself stresses that the body has no investigative powers, therefore what we are reading is at best the account from the police themselves...

I didn’t bother posting stuff like this before as the report is obviously bogus, but these puppet officials are really driving me up the wall.

I wonder if Anthony Neoh regrets heading the IPPC now? Doing his duty I bet.
