Good news indeed. Our lovely local newspaper is still full of panic. It really drives me nuts

Some people really choose to interpret things as they want. A report that indicates that a number of exemptions will be added such as having religious gathering, playing football and basketball without masks doesn't seem panicky to me.

These 3 seem to be a carry over from yesterday's case. Don't panic Mr Mannering.

Caught on day 10 of the quarantine - you have to send a specimen in on day 10 after arriving from overseas and quarantining.

You 'have to' send a specimen on day 10 if you travelled from a high risk country, if not, you're only 'invited to' (i.e. don't!)

I see absolutely no harm sending it in. Will be sending mine in for sure. Just to make sure all is good before stepping out.
