    Except for the first quarter, for people closely following events contemporaneously, I suggest it’s heavily slanted towards representing pro-establishment views/perspectives. If you think about the footage selected and the narrative you may see what I mean.

    What do people think of the new Bauhinia Party? I know there is all kinds of talk about it being a CCP front but if it's one then it's at least one that talks in a more conciliatory way about the pro-protester population than the current "CCP front" in charge...

    Basically at this point, any opposition of any kind will not be tolerated by Beijing. This of course is a recipe for further decline in governance quality. Because having only yes men in power telling you what you want to hear, as opposed to what you need to hear, is a sure pathway to incompetence and more failures by the government.
