Why can't Asia's World City put something together like that? Instead, the whole procedure is a big secret mystery, dependent upon rule-breakers like myself to post pics of what goes on...
Although, who would want to come for the 12 hour airport wait in the cold in a large exam hall...guess they wouldn't entice anyone with reality.
I like that Thailand has figured out that you can let people OUT of their rooms to walk around once a day, even prisoners in solitary confinement get an exercise period...
It's a 800+ day in Tokyo, highest ever. With other countries going 10,000+ easily a day, I think it's only a matter of time
You only have to look at a few of the Thailand discussion boards to see that they are very very far from perfection with their various visas, protests, changing rules and interesting stories however they are trying to be creative in reviving tourism which is crucial for them.
That's a quarantine I could contemplate... We'll see if it actually happens and is successful.

Not only are you offensive, you're wrong in multiple ways - which makes you look the dumb one.
1) The migrants ARE in a bottle.
The men, the majority of whom live in large dormitories where several men share a room amid cramped facilities, have essentially been quarantined from the rest of the population since cases exploded in April. They still face restrictions on their freedom of movement which will only be gradually lifted next year.
2) "It's extremely contagious" - prove it. The evidence actually suggests that's not the case, 320k migrants shacked up together for nearly a year and still less than half have caught it.
3) Singapore infections have flatlined and yet all these migrants are STILL shacked up together. Can you explain how there has been less than 1,000 new cases in 3 months if there's still 320k migrants living together and less than half have been infected?
4) You've totally failed to account for natural immunity (Yet again), despite there being very strong evidence for this being reasonably prevalent.
5) Need to be vaccinated eventually? In 30 yrs time, yes possibly, but clearly they are a low risk group. Since when do we need to vaccinate people against low risk outcomes?
What most people here have glossed over, y.e.t. a.g.a.i..n is that Singapore has had 29 deaths and 156,000 cases. (152K infected migrants.) That's a CFR of 0.0185% or around 2 in every 100,000 people infected.
So yes, it looks likely that the Sing migrant worker community are largely immune for the mid term.
And the Swedish king joins in:

28 cases in Sydney today as there is a new flare up after months of being largely virus free in Australia. The other states all locking down their borders to NSW residents. A bit of chaos at Sydney airport today as people try to flee the state before Christmas. A flight from Sydney to Perth last night, landed in Perth, authorities boarded the flight and told all the passengers that the Western Australian legislation changed while they were mid flight and now they must go into 14 days quarantine (A few weeks ago the WA border restrictions were lifted and people could travel freely but slammed shut again last night). We were hoping for a nice Xmas in Australia but a sudden wake up.
