So apparently Hong Kong has a Solicitor General...

This issue was raised in a recent article. Turns out HK still has a Solicitor General, who is supposed to advise the Government on complex issues and essentially provide assistance to our lovely Secretary for Justice Teresa Cheng.

His name is Wesley Wong, is a Senior Counsel, makes 200 grand a month and apparently no one has ever heard or seen him.

I'd be happy to be invisible for half that.

I would suggest there is something wrong with society if the Secretary for Justice is a household name and you know the name of more the two judges.

Not sure if that would be appropriate - I would't want anyone to think I was slacking off.
