ESF Teachers to undergo Covid-19 testing every 2 weeks

Move comes after parents’ group demand in a letter to the management that schools start testing all staff regularly for full resumption of classes

I have a friend whose K1 children are about to resume normal school schedule from next Monday, i.e. 5 half-days a week. Yet my child in a different K1 is still stuck with the 30% EdB cap and 1-2 days school a week.
Is this based on school staff agreeing to testing?
I would like to hear from other Kindergarten parents about what their school is planning / saying..

It’s absurd that schools are still barely open given the Covid conditions in HK. Education access shouldn’t depend on if your school’s management can arrange testing for all staff like ESF. Let them all back for half days (or more) now.

And god knows that the school administrators are capable of saying "the buck stops here".

The parents and teachers are fighting with each other and no one is asking the big picture - WHY are schools only 1/3 open but K11 which caused a 50 person cluster is reopening at full capacity after a week long closure?

Why not push for teachers and staff at all schools to be the next priority group for vaccines? Testing every 2 weeks doesn't do much, just piece of mind, no one wants to end up in a camp....
