You can safely exercise outside. Why are gyms allowed to open ?
You can safely eat outside, why are restaurants allowed to open?
You can safely sit out outside, why aren't beaches allowed to open?

@shri - not sure if this is the right place.

apparently cases at the international schools - WIS, FIS, Kellett, and ESF. seems like if you test more, you find more! some are linked to Ursus.

Also, another gym closed due to trainer related to Ursus.

    Gyms are not.

It’s all statistics. There will always be a case somewhere - impossible for it to be zero. The key is can we keep it low, contact trace so it doesn’t become exponential.

Going straight to blame game is tiring - unless you have proof that the gym blatantly disregarded regs. Even if everyone wears mask all the time, the risk of infection is not zero.

    i stand corrected
so my gym and my PT had a client who also went to Ursus. now all going for testing. looks like cross - polinating around gym is real like dancing cluster!

so if they send you to quarantine at the government's dime, it is 7-8 days quarantine. But if you come from abroad and you need to pay, it's 21 days. Guess that makes absolutely total sense!

Oh yeah, when you read the list of exceptions regarding quarantine between HK and China:

    https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/5...exemption.html

I wonder where all these cases come from?

"up to two personnel who are either the owner and/or the employees of a vegetable farm, or hydroponic farm, or flower farm or plant nursery, or livestock farm, or fish farm which is engaged in the production of agricultural and fisheries products for supply to Hong Kong, and that such persons have to travel to the Mainland or Taiwan -"

    just one of many....

I think it's still better to start taking action now to get vaccinated. The whole process takes time, and it draws out all the constraints we're facing just to "wait and see". I won't be fully vaccinated until mid-April. The vaccines are waiting...
