SQ / Scoot - No Transit Passengers to HK

Not sure if this has been covered somewhere else...

Singapore Airlines and Scoot will stop carrying transit passengers on their services from Singapore to Hong Kong due to new regulatory requirements in Hong Kong, both airlines said on Thursday evening, CHannel News Asia reports.

SIA's move will take effect from Saturday, while Scoot will stop carrying transit passengers from Singapore from April 30.

argh, does this mean all SQ flights will stop between HK and Singapore? Or will they still run flights for the (hopeful) travel bubble?

Shouldn't this get moved to the getting harder to travel to HK thread? - there will be more of these decisions to come and some will be direct carriers saying the effort of trying to confirm with ever changing, ever tougher and ever more ridiculous requirements is no longer worth it
