I agree, but it is what it is and under the circumstances not too bad. Terrible for HK still for sure.

edit: just seen that Lai is facing additional NSL charges of a more serious nature so could get a lot more time.

I have to commend them for getting their grammar right. But celebrating in their "stop interfering in China's internal affairs" with foreign champagne? How unpatriotic of them! And if these are Hong Kong citizens (aka Chinese citizens) who or how is it interfering with internal affairs? Huh!
