Not anecdotal but actual data point...

According to the JUPAS website, there were 38,955 applicants this year, a drop of 1,057 from last year. The figures have been declining each year since 2013 from the peak of 69,172.

Pretty small dataset but overall confirms local IT market is good especially for those who are in good position making decent money and are in no hurry to leave anytime soon..

The tech community in HK is quite small so it's at least indicative of that particular community
