    Quarantine Hotel List - Dec 2021 - Feb 2022

"Upon assessment, 40 hotels, including 35 in the fifth cycle, were selected as DQHs to join the sixth cycle (see the list in the Annex) to provide about 11 500 rooms of various types and rates for selection by arrivals in Hong Kong from places other than the Mainland and Macao."

    Some things to note:

From the hotel list on the link above - email address for consent form if you want to stay with an underaged kid.

Consent & Indemnity form to be filled by Parents/Guardian.

If the minor is to be accompanied by an adult during his/her stay, the caretaker is required to apply
for conditional approval from the Department of Health by email to [email protected],
before the arrival of the guests.
Some hotels are saying < 12 are allowed. Not too sure if you'd want them to quarantine for 21 days under hotel supervision, unaccompanied.

And for those of you who have waited for this list to get released, only to find out that the popular hotels are already booked - these hotels have been taking reservations for quite a while.

We booked a stay for a relative arriving in late november, in early October at one of the popular hotels.

Actually not that much intel, just sharing of info and alot of the info are not 'officially' useful.

Some hotel's that had been in the list for a long time (e.g. nina, ramada, types of hotel) were comfortable to take order exceed the 'cycle' setting, but others that were newer to the list (e.g. Jen, Courtyard, Kerry) were not. So you had that issue on the bookings.

These days planning to come back hk shld also look at the Q hotel cycle. The best is not to have a Q-period that crosses the cycle. E.g. for guys that want to fly into HK on the 25 Nov.. it will be tough as many hotels waited on the publication of the list and does not take Q booking starting from 17/18th Nov, people adjusted to these and the hotels ended up taking more bookings that end towards the end of Nov. i.e. your 25/11 ~ 9/12 Q-booking would be hit by people flying in both cycles.

This is what we ended up doing - called / emailed the hotels which we'd considered in summer and they were happy to take reservations. Did get a bit tricky as the terms of the booking that got emailed to us were a bit different from what was indicated on the phone / websites.

Anyways .. no big deal. All sorted.

Dorsett Wan Chai only has Superior Rooms for my intended return date in early Jan (or days either side). Frosted windows that don't open. Nah!

Could be on for a family room at Ramada North Point which has decent enough reviews in comparison to the other Ramada's and is over 10,000 cheaper for much bigger space

Actually many people been eyeing on the hotel they want and waiting just for the opening of the booking.. Courtyard was on the shortlist of many because they accept cancellation without cost up to 7 days prior to start, and their food are decent.

This round of Q hotel includes Christmas/NY, and also the 2nd half of January, which leads to chinese new year. So kind of expect everyone trying hard to make sure they can come back for their annual visit.

If you did not book already, too late. Almost all gone within hours of the list being announced.

Ramada North Point has an interesting address in its website:

88 Chun Yeung Street North Point, Hong Kong, Guangdong 000852
